About me
I´m Phil, the Engine Guy.
I have worked as Powerplant Engineer at Austrian Airlines and Niki for 10 years, taking care of CFM56 Engines (5B and 7B) as well as a bunch of APUs (GTCP36-150s, GTCP131-9B, GTCP331-200ER, GTCP331-500B, APS3200).
After that I was a Project Manager on the Kamov KA-62 to develop and produce the Transmission Prototypes (Main Gearbox, Tailrotor, Tailgearbox).

I spent two years abroad in Germany, working for Lufthansa Technik Hamburg as Key Account Manager for large Engine Contracts with Norwegian and Jazeera as my customers.
​
Since 2017 I am the Field Service Representative of Safran Aircraft Engines, taking care of Customers in Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina.
​
I also have a Glider Pilot License and I used to fly Model Aircraft. In the rest of my spare time I work as Official/Functionary at the Austrian Aeroclub, the Civil Aviation Authority as part of the UAV working group, as well as part of the Austrian Association of Drones (AAD).
